How
to become a Member
Membership involves organisations publicly signing
to the CBi,
affirming to the domestic and international community,
their commitment to the values and standards encapsulated
by the Convention. The main task of member businesses
and organisations is to align their processes with
the values of the convention. The factors evaluated
include:
- Professional Competence
- Systems of values (corporate policy and principles)
- Degrees of transparency (compliance with the
duty to disclose information)
- Processes (such as internal audits) and measurable
success.
- Commitment
Signatories are expected to review these evaluations
from time to time, ensuring that the views of external
parties such as shareholders, vendors and customers
are heard, in addition to those of management and
staff.
