AG
SAP AG is the world’s leading provider of e-business
software solutions. In 2001, SAP donated $150,000
to set up The CBi
Secretariat in Lagos, Nigeria. In July 2002, SAP formally
appended its signature to the Convention on Business
Integrity at a full media ceremony and has continued
to provide support to CBi’s
activities.
In 2004, SAP’s support aided in The Convention
on Business Integrity being signed for case study
analysis on the United Nations Global Compact Learning
Forum
DFID/SLGP
The State and Local Government Programme (SLGP) of
The British Department for International Development
(DFID) in Nigeria provided a grant sum of £
186,000 to the Convention in 2004 to be used for technical
and human resource functions. In addition, DFID will
provide the following amounts (US Dollars) of $ 190000,
$ 115000 and $ 40000 to be dispensed in 2005, 2006
and 2007 respectively.
DFID/SLGP had also provided technical assistance to
the Convention in 2003 by assisting in the formulation
of CBi’s 5 year strategic business plan.
The Headley Trust
The Headley Trust created under the Sainsbury’s
Family Charitable Trust Fund will provide the Convention
a total sum of £ 20,000 over 2004 and 2005.
The money will be used to continue CBi’s
anti-corruption projects.
